Homewood School - Homewood PA

Text Coming Soon!

The Homewood School was founded in Homewood Borough in the fall of 1911. The photo depicts a class photo from 1912-13. Classes were initially held in the basement of the Homewood United Methodist Church (in background above) until the new two-story Homewood School was opened in c1915. Local children attended this school for many years until it closed – possibly in the 1950’s. These days Homewood’s children attend schools in the Big Beaver Falls Area School District. Full Size
